Dance 4 Life Academy was founded by Chelsea M. Bruce. Chelsea started dancing when she was six years old and has been dancing ever since. She started choreographing dances when she was seventeen at Simply Dance Academy, where she studied dance her whole life. Chelsea has completed her A.A in Theater/Dance ,as well as, her B.A in Business Management at Indian River State College. Chelsea currently works as a substitute when she is not in the studio at multiple schools in the district holding a Infant - 8TH Certification. She has also studied dance at University of Central Florida in their dance for Disney program. Certified in several genres of dance, theatre, pbt and acrobatic arts. As well as her CPD, CIDE, BFA and BCA. Chelsea has performed and won numerous competitions both, as a competitor, as well as, a choreographer. She enjoys what she does 100% and couldn't dream of doing anything more. Her favorite styles of dance would be Lyrical and Musical Theatre. Her motto behind her success is that, she believes she can turn anyone into the best dancer they can be at D4L.

Acrobatics /Assistant Director

Mr. Rick was a gymnast all his life. He has competed and won numerous amount of awards. He now works along side his daughter owner Mrs. Chelsea as the acro coach as well as prop manager. He is certified in the acro in multiple levels through Acrobatic Arts. He has owned his own business for quite sometime but stopped so he could help alongside his daughter.

He is certified in Florida for Elementary Education and helps assist the Little Stars progrma.

He is very happy to be able to bring the joy of conditioning to his students.

Recital Director

Mrs. Lexi started dancing at the age of 3 at her local dance studio in New York City. At the age of 6 she made the competition team. She excelled in ballet, contemporary/lyrical, jazz, tap, and acrobatics.

Lexi got accepted to “The Fame School,” where she focused on Ballet and Modern dancing. She continued her studies at Broadway Dance Center, and Steps on Broadway.

She has a love for dance, and seeing her work on stage which led her passion to teaching.

Rebecca is a professional dancer from Winchester, England and has been dancing in America for 8 years. She began her training at the age of 3 and was a senior associate at the Royal Ballet Scool. At 15 she began full time training at the Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and in 2015 she followed her dreams overseas to dance with The Atlantic City Ballet.

Over the course of her career Rebecca has had the pleasure of performing across England, New Jersey, Oregon, California, and Arizona. Rebecca continues to teach alongside performing and loves sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with others.

Rebecca is very excited to be teaching at Dance 4 Life Academy and looks forward to meeting you all for class!.

Technique/Contemporary

Sammi started her dance education at a young age. Her love of dance began at The Genesis dance company she began furthering her technique and skills at various other studios on the Treasure Coast. She has competed at various dance competitions around the state and has won many awards such as 1st overall in contemporary and judges awards for “legs for days!” And is an award winning choreographer for awards such as platinum, 1st overall, and judges awards.
She has studied under many different choreographers at different master classes and conventions to help expand her knowledge and love of dance. Sammi specializes in technique and contemporary. She believes a dancer should love what they do because that creates passion. She loves curating a culture where dancers are proud of what they do and accomplish.

Ballet/Lyrical /Pbt/Pointe

Gabriela started dancing at the age of 10, training in jazz, contemporary, and specifically ballet. In 2021, she joined Dance 4 Life Academy and began competing under Chelsea Bruce. During her time here, she has won multiple awards such as 1st overall at Universal Ballet Competition and spent time studying ballet at Joffrey Ballet School’s Summer Intensive in New York City. She began teaching and choreographing in 2022 and has since earned a Progressive Ballet Technique certification and choreography awards at competitions such as Dance Educators of America. After graduating in 2024, she now is continuing her dance education at Florida Atlantic University as a dance minor and continues to teach and share her passion along South Florida.
