This acting course at Dance 4 Life Academy is designed for students of all personalities—from those who thrive in the spotlight to those looking to gain confidence and step out of their comfort zones. Students will receive extensive stage time to develop their unique acting process while acquiring valuable life skills.
Through this curriculum, students will explore stagecraft and gain an in-depth understanding of the actor’s craft. The program focuses on overcoming stage fright, enhancing public speaking abilities, developing an energized stage presence, refining diction, and fostering a spirit of collaboration and creativity. Students are encouraged to train with professional-level dedication.
Coursework includes stage readings of classic plays, audition preparation, monologue work, scene study, and rehearsals utilizing various acting methodologies to facilitate both internal and external growth. Students will learn to express their authentic selves, practice active listening, cultivate their imaginations, and pursue clear objectives, ultimately establishing a strong personal process to become effective and empathetic performers.
Acting Level III
Cost: $100 per month

All acting curriculam are designed to cultivate and refine performance skills through the practical application of fundamental theatrical techniques. Emphasis is placed on the holistic growth of the young actor through an immersive education in industry terminology, improvisational exercises, and public speaking.
Main Course Objectives:
* To cultivate skills that ignite and sustain a student’s passion for the arts.
* To establish a disciplined personal rehearsal process.
* To broaden the student’s comprehensive understanding of all facets of theatrical production.
* To build confidence and self-esteem in public speaking, performance, and auditioning.
THE DIRECTORS COMPANY
The Directors Company offers a personalized mentorship program for students seeking to work closely with our Director, Chelsea Bruce. This elite tier is designed for those committed to pursuing a professional career in dance, acrobatics, or theatre, as well as for students looking to enhance their current training or engage Mrs. Chelsea as their professional representative post-graduation. We provide dedicated support in career development, audition preparation, and strategic decision-making. As our students reach professional milestones, we celebrate their achievements and request acknowledgment of the academy's role in their journey.

Program offerings include, but are not limited to:
* Preparation for open auditions
* Professional resume and bio development
* Portfolio building, including headshots and performance photography
* Participation in local, national, and international performance opportunities
* Access to exclusive workshops, conventions, and audition events
* Opportunities to serve as workshop assistants and backstage dancers
* Collaborations with industry partners, including Disney and Universal
* Guidance regarding placements at prestigious performing arts institutions
* Chaperoned travel for designated events to ensure student safety and convenience
* A variable event schedule spanning monthly to annual commitments
Financial Policies:
* Program fees are commensurate with individual event requirements and professional engagement rates.
* Participation in all rehearsals and scheduled performances is mandatory for company members.
* Age-specific requirements may apply to certain events.
* A 25% agency fee applies to all bookings secured through The Directors Company.
* An annual $300 registration deposit is required, which includes a commemorative company T-shirt and enrollment in professional talent databases that connect performers with agencies worldwide.
* Event-specific fees are variable based on the nature and scope of the engagement.
